- What do you do to design software?
0) Simply Automate?
1) Improve Processes?
2) Write Maintainable Code?
3) Use Quality Assurance?
4) Use Software Metrics? At least half of the single programmer operations are at level 0 and 1.. Stay tuned for more information Levels 2 through 4. These levels become important in the team development scenario but are just as important for the lone programmer. Level 4 helps tp estimate the size of a software project. Software metrics are great for Clarion developers.
Read about it in: Do You Know The Size Of Your Application???
- Wasting time or writing good software?
"I was shocked at the number of people who told me I should goto a bug triage meeting or sit in a build lab for a day," (Steve) Ballmer said.
"We need to recommit to software engineering as a discipline"
