HTTP (built on TCP/IP) is one of the most popular protocols for networks. A Clarion developer can more easily develop networked applications for Windows. So you can build a distributed databased applications without DDE, CGI, ActiveX or web server interfaces. It is not that these technologies are bad. 	Description
	The Internet Framework Templates - HTTP Client Edition is for quickly and easily building Web (or HTTP) clients that access Web (or HTTP) servers. These templates enables applications to perform a variety of tasks including: Downloading data (binary or text) from a server Uploading data (binary or text) to a server You can use it to build Internet/Web applications such as remote file management utilities, agents, web robots, and spiders, or to add Web client capability to an existing application. These templates use the Windows Socket API for efficiency, using the asynchronous (Windows messaging) functions, and are entirely written in Clarion (with no DLLs) for flexibility. Comes with Clarion example app file to compile. Re-use example for your needs.

	The PowerMerge Templates allow you to pre-define tokens and place them in a document (such asword processing file or even an HTML doc created using MS Frontpage or NetObjects Fusion or Notepad) and have your app merge the tokens with real data. If you are using web pages, you can give designers the server-side include capability for your server app.
