Database Jumpstart
DBJ
IFT: HTTP Server helps you to build an app server quickly. Although you can code IFT to put a database on the web, Database Jumpstart (DBJ) was developed to make it much easier, as a matter without any coding.

Yes, DBJ gives you a quick and powerful jumpstart connecting your database to the web. DBJ extends IFT:HTTP Server, to automatically generate tables, forms and update procedures (pretty much inspired by the old Personal Clarion that many may remember). So you can develop a full database application without any coding.

Because DBJ does not use hidden windows, you can develop applications that are not resource intensive. You also inherit other benefits because of using IFT:HTTP Server.

DBJ has over 200 functions in the templates so you can quickly customize your database. However, if you need more control there are several embeds so you can add your own code. It also works with forms created in editors such as Adobe GoLive, DreamWeaver, Composer, MS Notepad, etc. So dress it up and BAM!! You have a web-enabled database system. Requires no knowledge of HTML for basic functionality. It requires Windows 95 or greater; Clarion 5 or better; and Internet Framework Tools: HTTP Server 2.5 or greater.

  • Quickly and easily put our data on the web
  • Develop full applications without coding
  • Inherit benefits from using IFT HTTP Server
